Superb log-style lakefront cabin in Boulder Bay!
One by one everyone seems to make it out to the back deck in the morning. In intervals, the coffee pot is brewing, the tea pot is whistling, and the cappuccino machine is steaming....everyone has exactly what they want as they hit the seating area that overlooks the bay....the perfect beverage, enjoyed with the perfect company overlooking the perfect view.....this is the way life should be.
Everyone around the table has an amiable disposition and a sunburned nose. Yesterday afternoon was filled with jet skis in the bay and water skiing on the lake. So today's prerequisites to fun are sun block and a straw hat...both of which you have plenty of on this trip. For once there will be no arguing the point, this lake is way too beautiful to stay off of and the sun at this elevation way to serious to take lightly....the guy you saw yesterday in the bait shop had purple zinc on his nose....that could be fun!
There's so much to do at Boulder Bay Lakefront that you're worried that you're not going to get it all in during your stay. Last night everyone fought to stay awake while they were playing a friendly game of 8 Ball. Some opted for a Jacuzzi under the stars and others crashed in front of the fireplace with a good movie. Tonight's plans include the preparation of a full course meal from appetizers to dessert and coffee all prepared by hand in one of the most incredible kitchen's on this mountain.

Spring and Summer Fun at Big Bear Lake
Summer at Big Bear Lake offers a wide variety of summer activities such as swimming, fishing, water activities, and more. The swim beach at Meadow Park has been a favorite local spot for many years now. It is located in the center of Big Bear Lake and it will be open to the public starting Memorial Day weekend! The swim beach isn't only a heavenly strip of white sandy beach and mountain lake water. They also offer inflatable water toys like the "summit" (pictured below), trampolines, lifeguard over watch, swimming lessons and more.
Whenever you need a break from water fun, the beach also has a snack bar, BBQ's, tables, showers and restrooms. The swim beach at Meadow Park will be open May 26-28, June 2,3, 9, 10 and then June 15 through September 3rd noon to 5pm closing on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
